Wow, what an awesome Shabbaton weekend! It was so beautiful to see us all come together with such joy and celebration. On Thursday evening we learned some very surprising Talmud passages related to the little-known holiday of Tu B’Av. On Friday evening we brought in Shabbat with song and dance and an amazing Shabbat dinner under the stars. Saturday we celebrated Shabbat with Rabbi Shalom’s rousing melodies, heartfelt prayer, inspiring Torah study, and more delicious food. On Saturday evening we bid Shaloha to Shabbat as Rabbi Shalom’s stories captivated the children with rapt attention, followed by more song and of course more great food.
May we all enjoy many future Shabbat celebrations together.
