Man Plans, G-d Laughs

We got a big dose of G-d's laughter this week!  In the middle of preparing for our interview week with Rabbi Ryan, our water heater sprung a leak. The result was a small flood, forcing us to close the shul building while we make repairs.  

Marc Bromley, Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and a member of JCM, has generously stepped forward to arrange a conference room at the Four Seasons to hold services for the next two weekends. Please join us in celebrating Shabbat with Rabbi Ryan Newfield at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea this Friday evening at 6:00pm and Saturday morning at 9:30am.

Thursday, January 9

6:30pm - 7:00pm: Online Torah 101 for Teens with Sam Shnider

7:30pm - 8:30pm:  Weekly Parsha with Kobi Gil.  Streaming live on Facebook.

Friday, January 10

6:00pm:  Evening Kabalat Shabbat , led by Rabbi Ryan Newfield. Four Seasons Resort, 3900 Wailea Alanui Drive, Wailea. Followed by light Oneg.

Saturday, January 11

9:30am: Shabbat Morning Service, led by Rabbi Ryan Newfield. Four Seasons Resort, 3900 Wailea Alanui Drive, Wailea. Followed by light Oneg and Torah study.

Sunday, January 12

10:00am: Talmud Torah for Kids. Location TBD.

Tuesday, January 14

6:30pm: Class: Ethics with Sam Shnider.  Via Zoom.  Email admin@mauijews.org for Zoom link.
