A New Look For Beit Shalom!

As a result of the water damage resulting from the water heater leak, Beit Shalom is getting a much-needed makeover.  We are working with an excellent contractor to do this work. The flooring is being replaced with beautiful and durable vinyl plank.  The walls are being stripped and repainted in a neutral contemporary color scheme that will look gorgeous with our recently dedicated Ner Tamid.  The kitchen is getting new cabinets. All contents are being removed from the building and put into a temporary storage unit in the back during construction.  Contents will be sorted and cleaned before being brought back into the building.

The building is currently a busy construction zone.  We ask that you do not stop by to visit until construction is complete.  It is simply not safe to casually be inside the building during this time.  Work will hopefully be complete within two weeks.

We had enthusiatic, uplifting and well attended Shabbat services last week led by Rabbi Ryan at the Four Seasons.  Toda raba, mahalo nui loa, many thanks to Marc Bromley, General Manager at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea and a member of JCM, who generously stepped forward to arrange a conference room at the Four Seasons to hold Shabbat services.

We will be at the Four Seasons again this coming Shabbat.  Please join us at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea Friday evening at 6:00pm for a family-friendly Kabalat Shabbat. Shabbat morning services start at 9:30, with Barchu at 10:00, and Torah Service at approximately 10:20. Services will be followed by a Kiddush and Torah study.
