What's the board up to??? The JCM Board of Directors and staff spent the day yesterday in a Strategic Planning session. Thank you to Janine and Nancy Pechner for leading and facilitating this!
Strategic Priorties that came up include Jewish life leadership, Facilities improvements, Development- including fundraising and m membership, and programming.
An actionable strategic plan will be developed with who is responsible and will include deadlines.
Any changes and additions will be posted on the website calendar.

Make ceramic menorahs with Marge
The pre-Channukah Kulanu classes will include a two part menorah workshop.
Each student will create a clay menorah on October 31st and it will be bisque-fired and ready to be painted with underglazes on November 14.
In the following week, the decorated menorahs will be fired a second time, with or without a clear glaze coat .
Warning to parents: The clay body is terra cotta, so old tee shirts are the appropriate dress.
