On Wednesday, December 25th - The first night of Hanukkah, Sam Shnider will be giving a class - Midrash In Action: Reflections on urgent messages from Jewish traditions for our times. 

Since this is the first night of Hanukkah we will have a community candle lighting. Everyone is welcomed!

We will have menorahs but feel free to bring your own. 

Schedule is as follows: 
6:00pm - Doors Open
6:30pm - Candlelighting
7:00pm - Midrash begins.

A light traditional Hanukkah fare will be provided.

Shabbat Services 
and 
Havdalah Hanukkah Party

We are thrilled that Rabbi Ken Aronowitz from Oahu will be back on Maui to lead Shabbat evening services and the Havdalah into our Hanukkah party.  
  
 His evening service sermonette will be: 
"What is the message of Hanukkah and what are we celebrating?"

Doors open at 5:30pm
Services start at 6:00pm

Saturday, December 28th, 2024

        6:00pm- Doors open and festivities kicks off

        6:30pm-Havdalah begins and Hanukkah party will follow after.

There will be games, crafts and Hanukkah songs to sing along and dance to.

We'll have menorahs but you are welcome to bring your own. 

"Share a Latke!" 
We'll have latkes served with sour cream and apple sauce but please bring a platter of your favorite latkes along with your own serving utensils.

We'll also have jelly donuts! 

Grape juice and sodas will be available, but feel free to bring your favorite beverage.

Free to members with full memberships. 

​​​​​​​Suggested donation of $10/$20 for non-members/
non-member families. 

Candles and gelt for you own celebration will be available for a donation ​​​​​​​of $5 each

Our Mitzvah Committee is looking for volunteers that can help with our community garden, light office work, and events that are coming up like our Hanukkah Havdalah party!
