What is their purpose? How have they been a basis for a Jewish life throughout the generations? How can they apply in our lives, how they can inspire us, and what opportunities can they give us to feel a sense of connection? We will look together at some of the sources and think about their meaning and relevance. Sam plans to start with a general discussion of what mitzvot are and why they are important.

Welcome to the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Class
We are thrilled to welcome these girls as they begin their journey to their Bat Mitzvahs...where they will read from the Torah! This is so exciting.
This program is open to boys and girls, this just happens to be the year of the girl.
If you have a child ready to begin their studies for a Bar/Bat MItzvah in the next year, please contact admin@mauijews.org and we will get you the information. Since classes have already started, if you are interested, please let us know in the next week. ____________________
