Seders: If you are having a seder, please consider adding a zoom element so people can join you! Email admin@mauijews.org with a link on how people in your community can join you and a small description of the seder you will have. See below for an example.
These invitations will be posted on our mauijews.org website. This is a unique way for our kehillah to celebrate together and share our traditions with each other. Example: Please join the Mortimer/Shapiro family for the "Ten Minute Seder" hosted by Sam Shapiro. This is a hagaddah we found online years ago, and it really is a very short seder. To accomodate zoom guests, we will wait to eat our meal at the end of the seder. Email ellynmortimer@gmail.com to get a copy of the hagaddah we will use emailed to you ahead of time.
Meals: If you are making extra food and would like to offer some to others in our community, please email admin@mauijews.org and let Ellyn know. These offers will be posted on mauijews.org.
Chesed fund: A Chesed fund was created at Purim to help those in our community who need a little help. Your donation will be used to buy a seder plate and food for people in our Maui Jewish community who need help.
