Sukkah Building 7:45pm It is traditional to help build the Sukkah right after Yom Kippur ends. We will put up the walls! It will be completed and decorated on Sunday, October 9
JCM will have a Maui Food Bank collection bin at our front doors for all services through Simchat Torah.
We had a fun and productive Reverse Tashlich! A dozen of us gathered early to enjoy each other's company and clean up the beach alongside the Kealia Boardwalk. The list above is the trash from one bucket after just an hour of beach clean up. We had 12 buckets and about hour and al half of clanup! The Maui Ocean Center will give us our final trash count soon, and we will report it.
More beach clean ups coming soon- perhaps at sunset with a potluck after! If you would like to help coordinate a clean up at your favorite beach, let Ellyn know at admin@mauijews,.org .
