High Holidays updated schedule

To better enhance your experience with us, we've added a few services. See below for the new schedule: 

Sept 15th - Erev of Rosh Hashana. 
5:30pm - Doors Opem
6pm - Service Starts 
6:15pm - Lighting of the Candles
6:20 -  Welcome greeting by JCM President  Dorothy Tolliver

Sept 16th - Rosh Hashana Day 1
8:30am - Doors open for private meditation  
9:30am - Service begins 
10:00am - Amidah Repetition 
10:30am- Torah Reading
11:00am- Blowing of the Shofar and Musaf
1:00pm - Tashlich at the beach

Sept 17 - Rosh Hashana Day 2
8:30am - Doors open for private meditation  
9:30am - Service begins 
10:00am - Amidah Repetition 
10:30am- Torah Reading
11:00am- Blowing of the Shofar and Musaf


Sept 24th - Erev Yom Kippur
5:30pm- Doors Open
6:00pm- Services Starts
6:02pm - Lighting of the candles
6:30pm - Kol Nidre

Sept 25th - Yom Kippur
8:30am - Doors open for private meditation  
9:00am - Welcome greetings
9:30am - Services until 1pm
1:00pm - Break until 4pm
4:00pm- Yizkor
5:00pm - Mincha
5:45pm - Ne'ilah (Closing Service)
7:00pm - Break the Fast 

Many thanks to Rabbi David Glickman, Cantor Martin Neumann,  Sam Shnider, Areya Glickman, Bonnie Newmann for providing their time to lead services; Cynthia Lebowitz and Barbara Singer for providing a special Rosh Hashana for the children and the Vojdani Family for sponsoring the break the fast. We grateful for your time and resources. 

Tickets are not being sold but we would greatly appreciate donations. Suggested donation is $20/person. 

We also are in great need of volunteers for the following starting as early at 10am on Friday, Sept 15th:
Chairs and Table Set up
Simanim preparation
Greeters 
After service clean up

Startng as early as 8:30am Saturday, Sept 16th and Sept 17th:
Greeters and guides to the beach for Tashlich and return to JCM

After service Sunday, Sept 17th or early as 10am Monday, Sept 18th: Break down of chairs and table 

Volunteer opportunities for Yom Kippur will be announced at a later time.

L'Shana Tova! 

This Friday we will have a special Rosh Hashana family service, outside, weather permitting running concurrent with the adult service starting at 6:20pm. 
Cynthia Lebowitz looks forward to bringing Rosh Hashana alive to the children in song, prayer, and story told by Barbara Singer.

Due to the High Holidays and personal committments, Israeli Folk Dancing is on hold. Please check back for updates. Mahalo
