We have a few exciting events to round off 2023. Mark your calendars so you don't miss out!

Sunday, November 12th Annual members meeting and board nominations
There will be a reception. Light refreshments will be served from 12:15pm-1pm. Meeting will start at 1pm.

Saturday, December 9th JCM's Chanukah Party
Doors open at 5:30pm. Havdalah at 5:45pm. Announcement of elected board members will be announced before the celerbration begins.

Wednesday, December 20th - Monthly Board Meeting
Election of board officers

More details to follow in the upcomimg weeks so stay tuned!

Tomorrow's shabbat service will start at 6pm.

Mahalo to Sam Shnider who will be leading services.

We are grateful for Rabbi David Freidenreich's visit to JCM which was truly special. He graciously rolled our Torahs, led a beautiful service and facilitated a meaningful discussion. This allowed our community members and visitors to engage with one another about how we mourn and navigate through the devastating news of the Israel War and any recent losses.

We are grateful to our board members who were able to join us especially Gabe Crane who arranged Rabbi David's visit. We appreciate the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation that supported his visit to help our community grow and explore what Shabbat could look like for JCM in the future.
We thank Rabbi David and look forward to his next visit!

Israeli Folk Dancing this Sunday from 3pm-5pm.

After this week, the next class will not be until November 19th so make sure you catch this class before Paula goes on holiday!

We are fully staffed and ready to begin Talmud Torah (our religious school) next Sunday, October 22nd.

Children learn Hebrew, study Jewish history and holidays, learn songs and prayers, sing, dance, do creative crafts, and have a grand time with their Jewish friends. Some highlights of previous years are clay menorah making, planting a garden, presenting several wonderful Purim plays, and Israeli dancing.

Talmud Torah will meet on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12pm.
Children ages 5-12 may enroll.
