Yom Ha'atzmaut and Rabbi Ken is back!

This evening marks the start of Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel Independence Day). As Israel celebrates their 76th year declaration of independence.May we also observe Yom HaZikaro (Israel's Memorial Day) and pay tribute to the brave Israelis who sacrificed their lives to protect Israel, as well as the innocent civilians affected by past and present conflicts.

May today be a day of peace and remembrance as we celebrate Israeli Independence Day!

Rabbi Ken at JCM this Friday, May 17th

Rabbi Ken is coming back to Maui to lead Shabbat Services this Friday.

Along with prayer and song, he will be giving a sermonette called:

"Mah Nishtanah...What Makes This Israeli Independence Day Different from All Other Ones?"

We are looking forward to his visit and you joining us.

Doors open at 6:00pm
Services starts at 6:30pm

Israeli Folk Dancing class is still on hiatus

Talmud Torah (our religious school) continues until May, 19th.

Children learn Hebrew, study Jewish history and holidays, learn songs and prayers, sing, dance, do creative crafts, and have a grand time with their Jewish friends. Some highlights of previous years are clay menorah making, planting a garden, presenting several wonderful Purim plays, and Israeli dancing.

Talmud Torah meets on Sunday mornings from 10:30-12pm.
Children ages 5-12 may enroll.
