This year's High Holidays will feature the vibrant Rabbi Daniel Lev, who will be leading services.

If you didn't get a chance to experience his uplifting Shabbatone in July, the High Holidays is the perfect opportunity to connect with him and the rest of the community as we celebrate a New Year and look towards a brighter future.

Inspired by his teachers Rabbi’s Shlomo Carlebach and Zalman Schachter- Shalomi, (zt’l), Rabbi Daniel Lev was ordained in 2005.

He describes his spiritual approach as heart-centered and trans-denominational, combining Traditional and Jewish Renewal practices with a big pinch of humor.

He includes songs, stories and Jewish meditation in his services. After 36-years of serving various communities in northern California he moved to Hawaii in 2014.

Below is the High Holiday schedule along with other details.

Rosh Hashanah
Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024, Evening Service - 6pm-8:30pm
Thursday, Oct 3, 2024, Morning Service - 10am-1:00pm
Tashlich at Beach - Kaonolou Beach - 4:pm – 5:00pm

Yom Kippur
Friday, 10/11/24, Kol Nidrei Service - 6pm-9pm
Saturday, 10/13/24 Morning Service - 10am– 1:00pm
Break - 1:00pm- 3pm
Mid-afternoon classe 3 pm – 4:30pm Book of Johan and Rabbi Q & A
Yizko - 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Neila - 5:30pm– 6:30pm
Havdala & Break-Fast - 6:30pm

Reservations are encouraged as there will be limited seating. Also In JCM tradition, tickets will not be sold but donations are gladly welcomed to help defray costs. For information about seating, donations and volunteer opporuntities please visit:
