We're just one day away from the High Holidays, and there are some schedule updates to note.

Shabbat Tshuva has been added, led by Sam Shnider—Mahalo, Sam!*
 

Also we are pleased to offer an informal second day Rosh Hashanah service in a conservative style, featuring the traditional blowing of the shofar, based on interest. Your response to this service would be greatly appreciated today at jcmmauijews@gmail.com.*

Rosh Hashanah
Wednesday, Oct 2, 2024, Evening Service -  6pm-8:30pm
Thursday, Oct 3, 2024, Morning Service - 10am-1:00pm
Children's service  - 11:30am - 1pm led by Cynthia Lebowitz*
*Tashlich at Beach - Kaonoulu Beach - 5:00pm- 6:00pm

*Friday, Oct 4, 2024 - 2nd day morning service with shofar blowing - 10am-1pm Led by Rabbi David Glickman

Shabbat Tshuva. Doors open at 5:30pm. Service starts at 6pm. Led by Sam Shnider. 

*The children's service is geared for children aged 2 to 8, but all kids and their parents are invited to join. The service will emphasize Tefillah, Teshuvah, and Tzedaka, featuring songs, prayers, and shofar blowing to help the little ones engage with this special day.

Yom Kippur
Friday, 10/11/24, Kol Nidre Service - 6pm-9pm
Saturday, 10/12/24  Morning Service - 10am– 1:00pm
Break - 1:00pm- 3pm 
Mid-afternoon classe 3 pm – 4:30pm Book of Jonah and Rabbi Q & A
Yitzkor - 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Neila - 5:30pm– 6:30pm
Havdala & Break-Fast - 6:30pm

He includes songs, stories and Jewish meditation in his services. 

We are thrilled that Sam Shnider will be assisting Rabbi Lev.

The Jewish Congregation of Maui is committed to making the High Holidays enjoyable for all. To ensure your safety and comfort, seating is limited, so we recommend making reservations. JCM members and their guests will have priority. Instead of purchasing tickets, we welcome donations to help off set costs. 

Your generous contribution will support Rabbi Lev's honorarium and cover essential expenses such as security, the Break-fast, support staff and making a meaningful and positive impact on our community. We also have volunteer opportunities that would help us immensely.
