Many thanks to everyone who joined us for Rosh Hashanah, donated and/or volunteered. 

The Jewish Congregation of Maui aims to ensure a safe,comfortable and positive experience during the High Holidays. Due to the high turnout for Rosh Hashanah, reservations are required as seating is limited. 

Members with full single or family memberships will receive priority seating, followed by donors. We appreciate your understanding and will do our best to accommodate all requests. If we reach capacity, access on the lanai will be available.

The following is our schedule for Yom Kippur: 
Yom Kippur
Friday, 10/11/24, Kol Nidre Service - 6pm-9pm

Saturday, 10/12/24  Morning Service - 10am– 1:00pm
Break - 1:00pm- 3pm 
Mid-afternoon classe 3 pm – 4:30pm Book of Jonah and Rabbi Q & A
Yitzkor - 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Neila - 5:30pm– 6:30pm
Havdala & Break-Fast - 6:30pm

For the Break-Fast, it will be a buffet-style potluck to further engage as a community. We will  provide Challah, Manischewitz, and a couple of traditional dishes. We invite you to bring your own favorite wine or holiday Kosher dish to share. Please bring your own serving utensils and label your dish as Parve, Dairy or Meat with your name.

We've recently surpassed the halfway point of our matching grant and are close to our goal.

Your generous donations, along with this grant, will pay for Rabbi Lev's honorarium who we highly value for leading our High Holidays and also cover essential expenses like security, seats, and support staff. All vital for a successful High Holiday experience.

Our JCM volunteers are a blessing and we are very grateful for them. We are currently seeking additional volunteers to help with Yom Kippur. If you are interested and available to perform a Mitzvah during the High Holidays, please reach out to Kalo at jcmmauijews@gmail.com.
