Mahalo nui loa for your kokua!
Rabbi Daniel Lev is back!
We had a great turnout last weekend. Mahalo to everyone who joined us on both days and were part of a minyan. Many thanks to Sam Shnider for leading the morning service and visting Rabbi David Kunin from Congregation Beth David in Saratoga, CA who lead morning service. We're also appreciative to Bob and Marla Weiner who sponored the luncheon. Wonderful mitzvahs that we are truly grateful for.
This week, Rabbi Daniel Lev from Oahu is back to lead a Shabbtone this weekend. For those who remembered, he lead a memorable lively High Holidays this year and a Shabbtone this past July.
Inspired by his teachers Rabbi’s Shlomo Carlebach and Zalman Schachter- Shalomi, (zt’l), Rabbi Daniel Lev was ordained in 2005. After 36-years of serving various communities in northern California he moved to Hawaii in 2014.
He describes his spiritual approach as heart-centered and trans-denominational, combining Traditional and Jewish Renewal practices with a big pinch of humor.
