Join us for Shabbat!
We look forward to you joining us for Shabbat Friday, December 20th. Services will be lead by Sam Shnider.
Doors open at 5:30pm Services start at 6:00pm
Next week Friday, December 27th - Rabbi Ken Aronowitz from Oahu will be back on Maui for both Shabbat evening services and to lead the Havdalah into our Hanukkah party.
Starting on Wednesday, December 25th - The first night of Hanukkah, Sam Shnider will be giving a class - Midrash In Action: Reflections on urgent messages from Jewish traditions for our times.
Since this falls on the first night of Hanukkah we will have a community candle lighting where everyone is welcomed.
Schedule is as follows: 6pm - Doors Open 6:30pm - Candlelighting 7pm - Midrash. Learn, talk and discuss.
We look forward to you joining us for this special occasion and to help us illuminate the first night of the Festival of Lights
Mahjong games are now on Wednesdays Due to the holidays, games will commence on January 8th from 12:30pm to 4pm Beginners welcome. For more information contact Ellen Levinsky 808-385-4726
Volunteers needed!
Our Mitzvah Committee is looking for volunteers that can help with our community garden, light office work, and events that are coming up like our Hanukkah Havdalah party! 6pm - Doors Open 6:30pm (sunset)- Havdalah begins Hanukkah party will follow after.
There will be games and Hanukkah songs to sing along and dance to.
Bring a tray of your favorite latke and "Share a Latke" We will provide sour cream and apple sauce. There will also be grape juice and soda. Feel free to bring a beverage of your choice.
Free to members Suggested donation of $20 for non-member families
