Happy Purim!!!
We are excited to have you join us for our Purim Party tomorrow evening.
Tomorrow's party will be a mix of Purim festivities and to honor the Jewish Community and Brian Seidman who will be celebrating his 60th birthday.
Happy Birthday and Mahalo Brian!
During Purim, we are invited to hear the Megillat Esther, where we use our groggers to silence Haman's name and enjoy a lively Purim Spiel. Feel free to don costumes as Esther, Mordechai, or any of the other figures from Shushan!
Doors open at 4:30pm. We start the celebration at 5:00 PM. Arrive early to grab a grogger and a good seat. You'll have a chance to eat and shmooze before Rabbi Ken leads an abbreviated Shabbat evening service at 6:00 PM.
As part of Mishloach Manotfeel free to bring a tray of your favorite Hamentashen cookies to taste and trade or your favorite dish to nosh and share. For Matanot L'evyonim, there will be a Maui Food Bank canister outside to donate canned or non-pershiable foods or even any chametz if you prefer to give it to charity before Pesach.
Mahalo to Sam Shnider and Rabbi Ken who will be reading the Megillah and our Talmud Torah students and teachers for putting on the play.
We look forward to sharing this joyous time with you!
