We are proud to present the students of the Jewish Congregation of Maui's Talmud Torah program who have worked diligently with our exceptional teachers: Nicole Lasko, Jessica Pearl-Kwon, Makaela Cooper, and Elinor David this past year.
To celebrate their achievements, these students will lead this week's Shabbat service, followed by a community dinner this Friday, May 9th.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Jessica at jessicapearl@mac.com by Thursday, May 9th, with your party size. Families should arrive dressed in their Shabbat best by 5:00 PM, as the service begins at 5:30 PM. We also welcome help with re-arranging the sanctuary for dinner and volunteers for cleanup afterward.
A heartfelt thank you to our generous donors, Aarin Spiegelman and Rachel Holz for sponsoring the dinner. Special appreciation goes to Elinor for her culinary contributions, and to all families involved—your participation is vital to our community's success.
To support JCM so that it can continue to thrive and be able to offer a Talmud Torah program for the upcoming year, we suggest a donation of $18 for adults and $10 for children. Not mandatory but very much appreciated.Thank you for your support, and we look forward to celebrating Shabbat together!
