Last day to vote is Sunday, June 29th before the Annual Members Meeting.
Meet our nominee Joel Eser Richman
Joel Richman, a promising lawyer hailing from Massachusetts, found his passion for windsurfing leading him to Maui over four decades ago, where he pursued a career as a professional windsurfer. Despite his love for the sport, his dedication to law remained strong.
After three years on the island, he successfully carved out a niche by representing windsurfing professionals and businesses, merging his two passions. Deeply connected to his Jewish heritage, he co-founded the Jewish Congregation of Maui, which began as a small gathering of individuals from diverse backgrounds meeting on the beach and has since grown to include the only synagogue on the island, located in Kihei, which he played a key role in acquiring. Now, he is rejoining the board to help revitalize and strengthen the congregation once more.
Your vote is important, even with a single nominee so we encourage you to participate. Mahalo.
*Members that hold a visiting single or family membership, associate are not eligible to vote. If you have questions, please contact jcmmauijews@gmail.com

Mahalo in advance for your presence and Shabbat Shalom!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our Morning Shabbat Children's program last week; it was a joy to see so many families come together. A Big Mahalo to the Kalkstein Family for organizing an engaging program led by Josh, and to Stacey for providing a delightful oneg after the service.
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting more children's Shabbat services in the future, so stay tuned for updates. This program serves as an excellent introduction to Bat and Bar Mitzvah preparations, helping participants become familiar with the service, and it’s also a welcoming space for those new to or simply curious about Judaism.
The future of the Jewish people lies in the hands of the children! We look forward having you join and learn with us!
