The Jewish Congregation of Maui is delighted to welcome the Kaplowitz Family visiting from Newbury Park, CA, as new members to the community. We are particularly excited to share the news of Aaron and Hun's daughter, Ivy, celebrating her Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, July 26th.
The family warmly invites everyone to join in this joyous celebration as Ivy is called to the Torah. Your presence and participation is much appreciated as we gather to welcome the Kaplowitzes and wish Ivy - Mazel Tov!
Doors open at 9:00 ; Service starts at 9:30 with the Torah service begin at 10:00. Service led by JCM's clergy leader, Sam Shnider.

David Belzer, fondly known as Capn Dave, is a pilot by trade, has sung and davened with numerous Jewish communities across America.
He believes prayer is a unity of music and meaning - both of which we are all hungering for in this world. Originally from Los Angeles, he splits time with his family there and his home and ohana here on Maui.
We're grateful to have Capn Dave Belzer to lead Shabbat service this week. Please see below for the schedule.

Join Our Team of Jewish Educators on Maui! We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our team and help foster a love for Jewish education. If you enjoy working with children, and fun learning activities, we’d love to hear from you! We are flexible with your interests. Let us know if you prefer to teach this week's parsha, do arts and crafts, teach Jewish History or Hebrew language.
Position Details: -Pay: $30 for two hours on Sundays, including a 30-minute prep period. - Teacher Flexibility: Let us know what you prefer to teach and what age group. we will do our best to accommodate you. -Time Commitment: Two hours on Sundays throughout the school year excluding school calendar breaks and Jewish holidays Requirements: - Submit your resume detailing your teaching experience talmudtorah.jcm@gmail.com - Jewish knowledge is a plus, but the team can help create lessons plans
